As part of Sheffield's Open Weekend activities:
25th July Middlewood Park, 12-3pm
Sheffield My International City is part of Discovering Places, the
London 2012 Cultural Olympiad campaign to inspire communities across the
UK to discover their local environment – with all its hidden places,
extraordinary spaces and the stories they have to tell. The event is an
opportunity to explore this beautiful park through words, street art and
natural decorations. Gaining inspiration from local and international
street artists and performers we will create our local platform for the
community to express themselves

Next month-
There are lots of projects coming up, we are just finalizing them!
- We are recruiting artists to add to our artist’s pool
- We will be running adult art classes in Stannington, Denby Dale and
Penistone and currently running poetry workshops in 3 schools in each
area.
This is all part of our Villages of Poetry project funded by The
East Peak Innovation Partnership Leader Fund.
